Brotherhood
The Brotherhood’s mission is to encourage men of its membership in worship that develops Bible Study, stewardship in giving of self and finance, ministries that touch lives of others through effectively communicating the Gospel Message in Love, peace and harmony with Christ’s principles. To instill in workers honesty in every endeavor they undertake. To build a union that encourages team work that encompasses the sharing of Christian responsibilities. To establish and maintain a Christian Fellowship of men for the following purposes: Spiritual, Emotional, and Family Stability as well as Community Service Initiatives Spiritual and Emotional. The goal of the Brotherhood is to define roles, responsibilities which spiritually and emotionally prepare men for leadership and service in their family, relationships, church and community.
Sunday School Department
The main purpose of Sunday School is for biblical instruction. This is distinctly indicated in the methods of our Sunday school, the place it occupies, and the imperative needs for it. Our Sunday school uses school methods for learning. The literature is Biblically based; we have a graded system of classification into departments and classes; we instruct by questions and answers, which is sustained for Church purposes and centering around the Bible, our educational aim is to train God's people in Christian life.
Choir Department
The purpose of the Choir Department is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through song, encourage believers in their walk with Christ, lead the congregation in worship and provide an avenue through which individuals may share their gift and be an integral part of the worship. The Choir Department spreads the Word of God through music experiences. The divisions are as follows: Adult Choir, Male Chorus, Praise Team, and the Youth Choir.
Pastor's Aide Department
The Pastor's Aide Department assists the pastor and his family with other various needs, in a moral, spiritual, and financial sense. They keep track of the pastor's birthday, and his family's birthdays and other special anniversaries, and may plan activities or parties for these events. They put together special activities for holidays such as Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Pastor's Appreciation Day, and assist the pastor in whatever he may need to best meet his goals for serving the church.
Usher Department
The purpose of the Ushers Department is to serve as doorkeepers in the House of the Lord. Ushers have various duties to perform which include greeting and seating worshippers, helping to make worshippers comfortable, assisting with the offering, handing out programs, envelopes, fans, and any other things that are to be distributed to the congregation, and are in proper order and places.
Women's Department
The Women's Department is to inspire women to use God-given gifts and talents to maximize the effectiveness of the units, bands, and auxiliaries in the church; for their own spiritual well-being, for a personal sense of accomplishment, to experience the satisfaction and joy that comes from unselfish giving, for the spiritual, natural and financial well-being of the church and for the upbuilding of the Kingdom of God. To provide an opportunity for women to learn and/or to better understand the purpose, the value, and the results of the work of Godly women in the home, in the church and in the community. To encourage healthy, stable, happy and enduring marital, home and family relations. To develop and implement innovative, Holy Ghost inspired, effective programs for the natural, spiritual, financial support and growth of the church.
Youth Department
The purpose of the Youth Department is to prepare students for effective ministry in middle-high, senior high, or college level and their families within the context of our church; with the training of our young people to lead the cause for Christ, and the applying of Christianity to every area their lives, is what the " Youth Department" is about. We seek to help the youth share their gifts, grow in life skills, develop a positive self-image, overcome prejudices, develop respect for differences, serve those in need, and foster social change, develop a personal spirituality and prayer life, apply Christian faith to daily life, integrate Christian values, participate in the Church, and to develop a personal relationship with Jesus.
