We have a Variety of ministries here at GFC.
Altar Workers Ministry
The Altar Ministry exists to display extravagant love towards God’s people and those who desire Him. Our Mission is to effectively minister to respondents of the Altar. It is an opportunity to reap spiritual fruit for the Kingdom of God. An Altar Worker prays for others and is actually sowing into the lives of those prayed for. An Altar Worker serves as a prayer counselor to those who respond to the altar call made by the minister. We work in conjunction with the minister and the Holy Spirit to reap the spiritual fruit of men, women, boys, and girls who have received and acted upon the Word and the Presence of God.
CBU Ministry
The Christian Brothers United Ministry is dedicated to Christ and kingdom building by providing service throughout the church and community. We are committed to improving the quality of life of men while launching key programs that foster spiritual growth, servant leadership, civic involvement, and health & wellness.
Culinary Ministry
This ministry is to serve meals for every major church event. It provides meals for various events as scheduled, including funerals, luncheons, banquets, and bridal parties. The ministry members are responsible for planning menus, purchasing and preparing the food, setup of the dining area, serving food, and cleanup of the dining and kitchen areas.
Hospitality Ministry
The Hospitality Ministry serves to reflect the love of Christ through expressions of gratitude, excitement, and enthusiasm; to create an inviting environment during our services and special events that are welcoming, hospitable, friendly, organized and disciplined. To create a sense of belonging by making sure every visitor, member, and guest feels special and welcome in our church home. To decrease the amount of stress, anxiety, fear, and confusion for our visitors and guests through resources, such as the Greeters/Ushers/Security Attendants, Welcome/Visitor packages, Visitor Cards and Visitor Gift bags; to encourage a smooth transition from being a visitor to becoming a member.

Intercessory Prayer Ministry
The purpose of the Intercessory Prayer Ministry is to have continual, effectual, fervent prayer and intercession for our Senior Pastor and his family, the church body, communities, cities, states, countries, and the entire world.
Liturgical Dancers, Steppers & Mime Ministry
The purpose for the Liturgical Dance, Steppers and Mime Ministry is to praise and worship the Lord through the God-given gift of dance. Our mission is to encourage and uplift God’s people while conveying His message through expressive movements of the body and the emotional and spiritual connection of the soul, all made possible by the direction of the Holy Spirit. We minister and praise dance during church services and church events. Our main goal is to lift the name of Jesus.
Security Ministry
The Security Ministry maintains the security of the church by opening and closing the buildings for regular church services and scheduled Ministry meetings. The Security Officer(s) provides oversight during Sunday morning services, scheduled weekly activities, and prearranged community activities. This includes monitoring of the parking lots and observing the sanctuary and fellowship hall.
